A41 Joins the Succinct Prover Network

Today, A41 is joining the Succinct Prover Network as an early prover, providing their high-performance GPU cluster to the network. A41 is a blockchain infrastructure service provider that has long provided enterprise-grade staking solutions to customers throughout the crypto industry, and is the 8th largest Ethereum validator. In an expansion into ZK, A41 is choosing to partner with Succinct to provide multi-node proof generation services on the network. They will bring their expertise running high-reliability validators at scale to ZK proving and improve the costs and latency for all users of the network.

To run their prover, they’ve built a scheduler and orchestration stack for SP1 that can coordinate hundreds of GPUs. With this stack, they’ll be one of the first multi-node provers on the network. At peak capacity, A41’s prover will be able to easily handle proving for large-scale rollup workloads and even high-throughput workloads like gaming and AI inference.

In addition to the GPU orchestration layer, they’re also developing a new compiler-driven backend that significantly reduces proving cost and latency across all hardware types. This backend allows developers to write proving schemes in Python while maintaining high efficiency on both GPUs and CPUs, with Groth16 already showing promising early results.

This backend will be open-sourced soon, complete with benchmarks to demonstrate just how fast Python-based proving can be. These are optimizations beyond just coordinating GPUs; they’ll result in performance improvements even on single-GPU proving. They’ll be sharing more soon.

The provers are rapidly coming online to the Succinct Prover Network. We’ve already onboarded nearly 200 provers, with individuals and professional teams joining every day. If you’re interested, contact us and we’ll get you set up.
