Succinct Inks One-Year Exclusive with Tandem by Offchain Labs, Unlocking ZK for the Arbitrum ecosystem

Succinct has entered a one-year exclusive strategic partnership with Tandem, the venture arm of Offchain Labs, to enable ZK proving of Arbitrum chains. This partnership reinforces Succinct’s leadership in ZK and marks a major milestone for the Succinct Prover Network.

Succinct is driving the verifiable computing paradigm

From the beginning, Succinct’s mission has been to prove the world’s software. We view zero-knowledge (ZK) proofs as a fundamental upgrade to computing: they allow anyone to verify that a program executed correctly, without relying on counterparties. In a world of growing security and privacy concerns, this capability is more critical than ever.

Until recently, building ZK systems was prohibitively complex. Teams needed in-house cryptographers and the engineering expertise to develop custom ZK circuits by hand. Long development cycles and extensive audits led to major delays before applications could launch.

This changed after Succinct introduced SP1: the world’s fastest and most production-ready zkVM. With SP1, teams can simply write application logic in Rust (or any language that compiles to RISC-V) and create provable ZK programs. It’s as intuitive and programmable as traditional computing, making ZK accessible to every developer.

Today, SP1 powers over 35 customers — including leading teams like Across, Avail, Celestia, Mantle, and Polygon — across diverse use cases

With the mainnet launch of the Succinct Prover Network, ZK proofs are more accessible than ever. The network connects a vibrant ecosystem of applications, provers, and stakers to deliver ZK proofs with industry-leading performance, cost-efficiency, and decentralization. The PROVE token sits at the core of this network, underpinning both economic security and payments.

Succinct will pave the way to ZK on Arbitrum

Arbitrum has been a key player in Ethereum’s scaling journey. Following a “Your Chain, Your Rules” philosophy, the Arbitrum platform gives teams the flexibility to customize their chains to meet their unique needs. This approach has been a major success, with over 40 Arbitrum chains on mainnet and blue-chip teams like Robinhood and Converge (by Ethena & Securitize) preparing to launch.

From the start, Arbitrum has been at the forefront of rollup innovation. While optimistic rollups were the most viable option when Arbitrum launched in 2021, Offchain Labs continued to explore ZK approaches, including hybrid ZK + optimistic proving. With Succinct driving a "ZK Moore’s Law" in performance and cost, the stage is now set for Arbitrum chains to choose how they want to prove.

Succinct has entered a one-year exclusive strategic collaboration with Tandem, the venture arm of Offchain Labs. Together, the teams will develop the technology for ZK proving Arbitrum chains. This level of commitment is critical, as Offchain Labs has pioneered key technologies like Stylus that require dedicated support. The one-year exclusivity is also a testament to Tandem’s confidence in Succinct, underscoring our leadership in ZK.

The Succinct Prover Network is positioned for hypergrowth

With this partnership, Succinct is positioned to serve leading Arbitrum teams and unlock institutional adoption of ZK.

For the Succinct Prover Network, the impact is transformative. ZK rollups are one of the strongest drivers of proof demand. Until now, the network was limited to the universe of OP Stack chains. When Arbitrum chains come online, the addressable market effectively doubles.

If the Succinct Prover Network can monetize a fraction of the L2 value that is secured, it will unlock hundreds of millions in revenue. This value flows through the entire Succinct ecosystem, rewarding provers, stakers, and partner protocols.

The Succinct Prover Network is entering a new era. We’re grateful for the Tandem team’s trust, and we are excited to deliver ZK to Arbitrum chains. Stay tuned for more information!
