ZAN Joins the Succinct Prover Network

ZAN is joining the Succinct Prover Network as a multi-node cluster prover. ZAN is an infrastructure provider, specializing in node operations and hardware, powered by AntChain OpenLabs. They recently collaborated with Succinct on the FPGA acceleration of SP1 and improved SP1 20x over traditional CPUs, demonstrating their deep technical expertise in ZK.
They will bring their extensive experience in hardware acceleration and running hundreds of GPUs in production to the network. By bidding in competitive auctions for proofs, the ZAN prover will provide critical infrastructure to our customers.
ZAN’s work on FPGA acceleration will also benefit the network in the long run by reducing proving costs for all users; FPGAs can be much cheaper than cloud GPUs or even on-premise clusters. FPGA acceleration will act as a lead-in to incorporating ZK proving ASICs that can encode specialized proof systems in silicon.
The network is now composed of some of the most respected prover teams in the world. We’re well on our way to realizing our initial vision of creating the world’s largest proving cluster. The vote of confidence given by teams like ZAN will accelerate ZK worldwide.
